Scott is on a mission to save Aussies from skin cancer. His charity, Skin Check Champions was established in 2010 after his mate Wes was killed by a suss looking spot on his neck that he didn’t know was bad until it was too late. In Wes’ honour, Scott started growing his beard as a life saving conversation starter, using it to champion early detection, especially for men who are twice as to die than women. Last year he shaved his beard after raising a million dollars. Funds he’s investing in a targeted national skin check program for ‘everyone under the sun’ – bringing free, educational screening services to communities most at risk.
